Be it in the oil field or in the office, rotational or residence, contract or permanent its all covered. You could be actively looking for a job in the industry or passively keeping an eye out for a better job, the Jobs Nexus is your gateway to a pool of highly targeted opportunities.
The Petro Front Jobs Nexus is bespoke for the requirements of Oil and Gas. So the Jobs Profile of this Nexus has been custom built to efficiently exhibit your hard earned experience and skills in a pitch perfect way, most relevant to the industry. And this makes connecting to the most pertinent employer, easy and effective.

To create a Jobs Profile on the Nexus, you first need to sign up for an account on Petro Front. To signup, click on the ‘Signup’ link in the top level navigation. On the landing page after filling out the form, when you hit the submit button, you will be navigated to the profiles creation page. Here you can create either or both of the Jobs and Network Profiles. The fields on the left section of this page pertain to the Jobs Profile. Fill out the details as required, and upload your CV from your device.

If you wish to create your Network profile as well, fill out the fields for the section on the right as well. In case you chose to skip it, mark the checkbox on the top in the section to express the same. Though creating your Network profile is optional, we recommend it for you to leverage the best out of Petro Front.

Once done, click on the ‘Let’s Get Started’ button. To complete, you will have to activate your account using the link in the activation email sent to the email that you registered.

In the top level navigation here, click on the ‘Job Search’ link to reveal a dropdown. From the dropdown, click on the ‘Search Jobs’ link and you will be navigated to the ‘Search Jobs’ page. Here you can use the quick keyword search under ‘I am looking for’ or the Advanced Search to look for the opportunities you seek.

Once you get the results and find a job that you wish to apply for, click on the 'More' button against the job to expand the brief details of the job. Here:

• If you are logged into website and have a Jobs Profile registered- you will see an ‘Apply’ button beneath the details. Click on this button to send your application for the job.

• If you are logged in but have not created your Jobs Profile on the Jobs Nexus, you will see two ‘Apply’ buttons here. As the text beneath the individual button specifies- the first apply button is for you to create your profile and then apply, and the second apply button is for applying without a profile. We highly recommend you to create your Jobs Profile, so that you can start applying to all the career opportunities on a single click.

• If you are not logged in, you will see two ‘Apply’ buttons. As the text beneath the respective button specifies, the first button is for users to login/register and apply, and the second one is for users who wish to apply without signing up on Petro Front. If you already have a Jobs Profile on Petro Front you can click on the first button ,and log in from the landing page to send your application for the job. The second button is for the users who wish to apply without sign up by filling out an application form.

Similarly, you can apply to the jobs from a ‘Job Details’ page. In particular - users with a Jobs Profile enjoy the additional ease of directly applying from the ‘Saved Jobs’ page as well.

Petro Front users with a Jobs Profile can create customized job alerts. You can do this at various places throughout the Jobs Nexus. At the time of sign up, on the profiles creation page, under the Jobs Profile - beneath the mailer settings, mark the check box 'Receive Job Alert Emails'. In the fields of preference thus revealed, select the experience level and job family for the jobs you are interested in and create your profile(s). You can set up the alert in the same way, on the ‘Create Jobs Profile’ page, if you are creating the profile anytime later. However, if you have not set up the Job Alert while creating your Profile, you can do so from the ‘Job Alert’ box- placed on the right hand side of all the web pages in the Jobs Nexus. You can also set up the alert from the ‘Jobs Nexus Settings’ page which can be accessed by clicking on the ‘Privacy Settings’ link from the dropdown under ‘Settings’ in the top level navigation of the Nexus.

While creating your Jobs Profile,you can post your resume in the 'Upload resume field'. At any point of time if you wish to change the resume you have uploaded, you can do so from the edit profile page. This edit profile page can be accessed from the top level navigation of the Jobs Nexus by clicking on 'Edit Profile' from the dropdown under the ‘Settings’ link.

You can easily edit your Profile from a number of places throughout the Jobs Nexus. Once logged in, you can click on the 'Settings' link in the top level navigation of Jobs Nexus to reveal a dropdown. Click on the 'Edit Profile' link in this dropdown and you will be navigated to the 'Edit Profile' page. Edit the fields as required and once you are done click on the submit button at the top to save the changes. You can also click on the 'Jobs Profile' link in the top level navigation of the Nexus to navigate to your Jobs Profile. Here click on the 'Edit' button at the top to make all the fields of your Profile editable and once done, save the changes by clicking on the submit button.

Yes, you can apply to a job with your Profile only, incase you have not uploaded your CV. The Jobs Profile on the Petro Front Jobs Nexus is tailored for the Oil and Gas professionals to succinctly showcase the industry experience in the most relevant way. So the information sought by the recruiters is suitably exhibited through your Profile.

If you did not create the Profile at the time of signup, you can do so later from the create Jobs Profile page. Log into the system and in the top level navigation of the Jobs Nexus, click on the 'Jobs Profile' link. You will be navigated to the Jobs Profile creation page. Fill out the fields here and once done click on the submit button at the top of this page to complete the creation process. Moreover, as a user with an account of Petro Front, when you have not created your Jobs Profile, clicking on any of the links that require a registered Jobs profile for the access, will navigate you to the Jobs Profile creation page. Clicking on the links of 'Jobs Profile', 'Inbox', 'Notification', 'Edit Profile', 'Saved Jobs', 'Applications', 'Privacy Settings' or 'Other Settings' will navigate you to the Jobs Profile creation page.

Deactivating your Jobs Profile will temporarily disable it. Though you will be able to search or browse the jobs, you will not be able to apply to them or accomplish any other related activity. To deactivate your Profile, click on the 'Settings' link in the top level menu here and then click on the 'Other Settings' link from the dropdown thus revealed. On this page under Other Settings' section- click on the 'Deactivate Jobs Profile' link .

Deleting your Jobs Profile is permanent. You will lose all the data that you have uploaded or saved with no option of retrieval. If you wish to take a break from the Jobs Nexus, we recommend you to deactivate your Profile instead. However, if you are dead set on quitting, you can delete your Profile by clicking on the 'Delete Jobs Profile' link under the 'Other Settings' the access to which has been explained above.
